Drew Spangler - Drums

As a drummer, Drew takes pride in not knowing what a "diminished 9th" is.  Jim and Bob are educated, skilled and cerebral musicians.  What Drew does is primal, like eating red meat on a tractor.  Drew's hard-hitting and frenetic drumming belies his otherwise mild-mannered personality.  He has been playing the drums since he was nine, filling an otherwise peaceful upbringing in the suburban southwest with noise and chaos.  His father couldn't wait until the noise left for college, but his mother was "never bothered."  He won the all-state jazz drumming competition once and came in second another time which sounds impressive until you consider the hot bed of drumming talent that is the state of Arizona.
